A new IT park is going to be set up in the Hyderabad IT corridor . The government is working towards this end. The state government is planning to set up a new IT park near the American Consulate , two kilometers away from the Kancha Gachibowli lands . For this ambitious project, about 439 acres of government and private lands in the vicinity of Gopanpally Thanda have been identified. As per the orders of the Rangareddy District Collector, the Serilingampalli MRO submitted a detailed report of these lands in the month of March itself. This IT park will be located equidistant from the Gopanpally-Tellapur Outer Ring Road, the Wipro campus in Gopanpally, and Tellapur. It will be just one kilometer away from the Gopanpally flyover. Details of government lands in this area were collected two decades ago. However, with the significant increase in the activities of IT companies in the Gopanpally, Gopanpally Thanda, and Vattinagulapally areas, as well as the opening of the American Consulate office here, the importance of these lands has increased. If two state-of-the-art IT parks are established in the Gachibowli and Gopanpally areas, top officials estimate that the activities of IT and allied sectors will gain further momentum.
