Pakistan firing along LoC: 7 killed, 38 injured

Since the Pahalgam terror attack, Pakistan, fearing that India will attack them from anywhere, has been committing provocations along the LoC every day. It has been violating the ceasefire agreement and firing. However, on Wednesday morning, Pakistan Rangers also opened indiscriminate fire. A total of seven Indian civilians lost their lives in this incident. 38 others were seriously injured.


After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan has become more alert. Fearing that India will attack them from anywhere, it has been firing continuously along the LoC. On Wednesday morning, Pakistani Rangers also opened fire. Seven people lost their lives in these attacks targeting Indian citizens. A total of 38 people were seriously injured. This was announced directly by the Indian Army. It also explained that all the injured are currently receiving treatment in the hospital.

Operation Sindoor

In lieu of the Pahalgam terrorist attack, India is taking retaliatory action against the PAP. On Tuesday midnight, the Army, Air Force and Navy jointly launched “Operation Sindoor” successfully . It is said that up to 80 terrorists were killed in the attacks targeting 9 terrorist camps. However, within a few hours of this, the Pakistan Army retaliated along the LoC. After the Pahalgam attack, there have been constant ceasefire violations, and on Wednesday morning, firing broke out again.


Pakistani Rangers targeted Indian civilians. Heavy artillery shelling was carried out along the LoC in Poonch and Mendhar sectors. Officials said that a total of seven civilians were killed and 38 injured in the incident. It was clarified that the dead included two small children, including a woman, and four men. It was also explained that 10 civilians were injured in cross-border firing in Naupora and Kalge ​​areas of Salamabad in Uri and three civilians were injured in Rauzari firing.

A ceasefire agreement was signed between India and Pakistan in February 2021. But since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Pakistan has been engaging in provocative actions. In particular, it has been violating the ceasefire agreement and has been firing for 13 consecutive days. However, while no one was killed in the firing in the last 12 days, seven people were killed in the attacks today. This is the first time that civilians have lost their lives in attacks since the ceasefire agreement.
