AI Robot Attacks Worker in Chinese Factory Test

AI Robot: Concerns over the possible dangers of artificial intelligence have been raised by a terrifying occurrence in a Chinese factory that was captured on CCTV. The footage showed a humanoid robot snapping at its managers. The video, which was extensively disseminated on social media, has increased anxieties about the quick development of AI and robotics.

Footage from a Chinese business shows a Unitree H1 humanoid robot hanging from a construction crane suddenly breaking down, thereby raising concerns about the reliability and safety of advanced robotics. In the video, two men closely observe the robot’s movements, seemingly testing its limits. However, the situation quickly escalates when the robot loses control, thrashing its arms and legs wildly in a chaotic display that feels straight out of a sci-fi horror movie.

As a result, the robot lunges forward, drags its platform, and hurls a computer and other objects to the ground. Meanwhile, the men scramble to avoid its erratic movements. Eventually, one of them steps in and attempts to stabilize the robot by adjusting its stand.

Many viewers compared the incident to the Terminator franchise, openly wondering if machines are on the verge of taking over, fueling fears of a robot revolt. Notably, Unitree robots have made headlines in several alarming situations. Also in February, a humanoid robot went rogue and charged at a group of festival attendees. A startling video captured the moment when the robot, wearing a brightly colored jacket, abruptly lunged toward a crowd of shocked bystanders standing behind a barricade at the Spring Festival Gala in Tianjin, northeast China.
