The couple are going to get married on 4th December 2024. Now Nagarjuna revealed that he played Cupid in Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala. The actor said he was very impressed with Sobhita’s performance in Goodachari and he immediately called her and invited her to meet him when she came to Hyderabad. Nagarjuna revealed, “I invited her to meet me the next time she was in Hyderabad. She later came home to meet me, and we had wonderful conversations — not just about films but life in general. Chaitanya happened to walk in during one of her visits, and that’s when they met for the first time if I remember correctly.”
Nagarjuna also talked about his soon-to-be daughter-in-law Sobitha’s journey in films. He said, “She’s worked incredibly hard to achieve her dreams, starting from Vizag and carving out a niche for herself in the industry. She’s a brilliant actress who has stayed true to her values and craft. More than that, she’s very warm and grounded.” He also revealed that he feels that ‘bond they share is unmistakable’ and says their relationship makes him very happy.
In a recent interview, Nagarjuna revealed the details about the couple’s wedding. Talking about the wedding, Nagarjuna said, “Chaitanya didn’t want a big wedding; he and Sobhita both preferred a gathering of close family and friends. They told me to leave the arrangements to them. They wanted to do it their way, and honestly, it was a huge relief! I said, please do,” adding, “Sobhita’s parents were clear about wanting to include all the rituals, and I was completely on board. I find the chants and ceremonies so soothing — they bring a sense of peace. It’s going to be a lovely wedding, simple and heartfelt, just like the couple.”
