Operation Sindoor: Here’s How World Leaders and Celebrities Reacted

Operation Sindoor reactions: India’s recent military operation named Operation Sindoor has drawn widespread international attention and strong reactions. The operation was carried out in response to a deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir that killed 26 people including one foreign tourist.

In a precise overnight strike, Indian forces targeted nine terrorist camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The attack reportedly eliminated around 80 terrorists.

Global Operation Sindoor reactions

United States President Donald Trump expressed concern but hoped the conflict would de-escalate quickly. Secretary of State Marco Rubio urged both India and Pakistan to avoid further tensions. He emphasized that the U.S. supports peaceful dialogue.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated, “We strongly condemn terrorism and call on both sides to act responsibly.” Moscow also highlighted the need for a peaceful, bilateral resolution, referencing the Simla Agreement and Lahore Declaration.

China, a key ally of Pakistan called the strikes “regrettable” and requested both nations to stay calm. China’s concern also stems from its major investments in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) which runs through the affected areas.

France supported India’s right to self-defense but asked both nations to protect civilians and prevent escalation. French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said, “We understand India’s concern about terrorism but urge restraint from both sides.”

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres shared his deep concern and requested maximum military restraint. “The world cannot afford a military conflict between two nuclear-armed neighbors,” his spokesperson added.

Other countries like UAE, Australia, and Israel also responded. UAE emphasized dialogue and peace in the region. Australia called for calm. Israel firmly backed India’s right to defend itself, with Ambassador Reuven Azar stating, “Terrorists must know there is no safe haven.”

However, Türkiye openly supported Pakistan and called India’s strike an “unprovoked act of aggression.”

Bollywood Celebrities Voice Support:

The operation not only sparked diplomatic conversations but also led to strong reactions from Bollywood stars who expressed pride and solidarity with the Indian Armed Forces.

Akshay Kumar re-shared the Indian Army’s post on Instagram and added, “Jai Hind, Jai Mahakaal.”

Kangana Ranaut, a Member of Parliament and actress, wrote, “Unhone kaha tha Modi ko bata dena. Aur Modi ne inko bata diya,” showing her support for the government’s action. In another message, she added, “May God protect those who protect us.”

Suniel Shetty posted, “Terror has no place. Zero tolerance. Total Justice OperationSindoor.”

India’s Message:

India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri clarified that the action was taken to prevent future attacks. “Our response was targeted, responsible and proportionate,” he said.

As tensions remain high, the world continues to watch how both India and Pakistan handle the aftermath of Operation Sindoor. But one thing is clear—India has received both international caution and domestic support in equal measure.
