Operation Sindoor: Anti-India campaign, Center issues key instructions

Operation Sindoor: The Center, which believes that there is a possibility of an increase in anti-national propaganda on social media after Operation Sindoor, has been alerted in advance. In this context, the Union Home Ministry has recently issued instructions to all states and union territories to be on alert. It has said that strict action should be taken against social media accounts that spread news that misrepresents Operation Sindoor and Indian security. It has said that they should be blocked if necessary. and has been suggested that the government and security forces should work in coordination at the borders.


 

Tensions between India and Pakistan are increasing day by day. In this context, various stories are coming out on social media. It is known that the Indian tri-services carried out lightning strikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK under the name of Operation Sindoor. In this context, the central government has recently issued key orders to all states and union territories. The Union Home Ministry, which has recognized that there is a possibility of fake news being spread after Operation Sindoor, has taken appropriate measures. It has instructed state governments to be vigilant against anti-national propaganda.


Operation Sindoor: Center issues key instructions to states

Recently, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a key review meeting with the Chief Ministers of several states. In this meeting, the Home Ministry made it clear that all states should be alert in the wake of Pakistan’s false propaganda after Operation Sindoor. In this context, it has been decided that strict action should be taken against anyone who spreads false news about the security of the country or about Operation Sindoor. It has been said that strict action should be taken against social media accounts that do so. It has made it clear that if anyone propagates against India, not only from within the country but also from abroad, such social media accounts should be blocked immediately. And also suggested that coordination and communication between state governments and security forces in the border areas of India and Pakistan should be further improved.

 

In the early hours of Wednesday, Indian forces carried out lightning strikes on 9 terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir under the name of Operation Sindoor. The central government says that about 100 terrorists were killed in these attacks. India launched these retaliatory attacks in retaliation for the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. In this context, the center, which felt that anti-national forces could spread fake news on social media platforms.. That is why it has issued orders to state governments to be vigilant.
