Pakistani firing: Indian Armed Forces have suffered heavy losses in the past 24 hours in the retaliatory firing by the Pakistani Army. Subedar Major Pawan Kumar in Poonch sector, Rifleman Sunil Kumar in Jammu and Air Force Sergeant Surender Kumar in Udhampur were martyred. BSF Sub-Inspector Mohammad Imtiaz was martyred in RS Pura sector. Seven other jawans were injured. These incidents show the seriousness of Pakistan’s violations.

Two Indian Army personnel, one Air Force personnel, and a sub-inspector of the Border Security Force (BSF) were martyred in the firing by the Pakistani army, while seven other BSF personnel were injured. On Saturday morning, Subedar Major Pawan Kumar and a Junior Commissioned Officer from Himachal Pradesh lost their lives when an artillery shell exploded at a military post in the Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district.

Rifleman Sunil Kumar (25) of Jammu Kashmir Light Infantry was martyred in the overnight firing and shelling in RS Pura sector. Sergeant Surender Kumar Moga (36) of the Indian Air Force was martyred in a Pakistani attack while on posting in Udhampur. He was a medical assistant with IAF 36 Wing. Earlier, Lance Naik Dinesh Kumar from Haryana and firefighter Murali Naik from AP were martyred. These incidents show the threat posed to Indian security forces along the borders and the seriousness of Pakistan’s violations.BSF Sub-Inspector Mohammad Imtiaz was martyred on May 10, 2025 during Pakistani firing along the International Border in RS Pura area of ​​Jammu district. Posting on his death in BSX, it said, ‘We salute the supreme sacrifice of Imtiaz. He led from the front while performing duties at the BSF border outpost.. BSF DG and officers of all ranks express their deepest condolences to his family.. A wreath laying ceremony in honor of the brave soldier will be held tomorrow at the Frontier Headquarters in Paloura, Jammu.’ It said that seven other jawans from the same unit were injured and all of them were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.
