Drunken Driving Cases Hyderabad :
In the city of Hyderabad, the situation concerning drunken driving remains unchanged, despite strong police action. Many individuals continue to drive under the influence of alcohol, risking their own safety and that of others on the roads. Even though the police are conducting regular checks and warning drivers about severe consequences, such as a possible 10-year jail sentence for causing accidents while driving drunk, many people ignore these warnings and continue to drive after drinking.
In Cyberabad, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, over 1,100 cases of drunken driving are reported every month. According to police statistics, in March of this year, 1,115 drunken driving cases were filed, and in April, the number dropped slightly to 1,049 cases.
The majority of individuals caught driving under the influence are between the ages of 21 and 40, with two-wheeler riders being the most frequent offenders. Surprisingly, even educated professionals and employees are among those caught in these checks, indicating that no one is immune to this dangerous behavior. The police have strongly urged the public to prioritize road safety and be more responsible while driving.
As the number of drunken driving cases remains consistently high, authorities continue to emphasize the importance of adhering to traffic rules and the serious consequences of driving under the influence. It’s clear that despite repeated warnings and strict actions, changing people’s behavior on the road remains a significant challenge for law enforcement in Hyderabad.
