In a perfectly choreographed military exercise, Indian Air Force (IAF) jammed and bypassed the Chinese-origin air defense systems of Pakistan within 23 minutes. The raid was a part of India’s counterstrike operation codenamed Operation Sindoor, India Disables Pakistan’s Chinese air defense in 23 minutes. Which targeted strategic Pakistani airfields and terror camps deep inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The Chinese-supplied Pakistani HQ-9 air defense system was deployed near Lahore for the protection of strategic military bases. The sophisticated electronic warfare equipment was, however, employed by India on May 7 in the air strike. To jam and destroy radar installations and missile bases and render the system completely useless.
Precision Strikes on Pakistani Airbases
India’s offensive package under the Integrated Air Command and Control System (IACCS) struck 11 Pakistani airfields. Just like Noor Khan and Rahimyar Khan with precision. They used Kamikaze drones or loitering munitions to strike high-value targets, including the enemy missile defense and radar.
Recovered Debris: Proof of Pakistan’s Foreign-Supplied Weapons
Indian troops recovered pieces of Chinese-made PL-15 missiles, Turkish YIHA drones, and long-range rockets, quadcopters, and civilian drones used by Pakistan. The evidence also revealed Pakistan’s reliance on foreign weaponry, which India countered with indigenous defense equipment.
India’s Technological Edge & Future Warfare
The Ministry of Defence observed that Operation Sindoor showcased the growing role of indigenous technology in India’s defence planning. Indigenous electronic warfare systems, guided weapons, and unmanned aerial vehicles were the focus of offensive and defensive operations between May 7 and 10.
India’s 23-minute attack immobilized Pakistan’s air defense, apart from demonstrating India’s technological superiority over Chinese-purposed systems. With no Indian asset lost, the attack established India’s dominance in new-age warfare, and that precision, strategy, and indigenous innovation are the keys to accomplishing national objectives.
