Many families in Telangana have been waiting for years to get new ration cards. Now, the Revanth Reddy-led government has brought good news. The government has started issuing new ration cards across various districts in the state. From May onwards, the eligible people have started receiving messages confirming their approval for the ration card.

How to Download Ration Cards:

These ration cards allow beneficiaries to buy rice at subsidized rates from fair price shops. The government has also sent SMS messages to approved beneficiaries, which include their new ration card number. With this number, they can easily check the status of their application.

People who applied earlier can also check their status using the reference number they received from the “Mee Seva” centers. To download the new ration card, beneficiaries should visit the official website. They need to enter either the reference number or their old/new ration card number and select their district. After this, they can view and download their full ration card details, including all family members listed on the card.

In addition, those who applied for updates or changes to their ration cards, such as adding new names, will also find their updated details online. By entering their old ration card number, they can see the revised list of family members and download the updated card.

According to officials, the new ration cards are being issued based on applications received through “Mee Seva” centers, village meetings, caste surveys, and local governance programs. The ration supplies can now be collected from any ration shop in the state, regardless of where the card was issued.

This move is a big step toward improving the public distribution system in Telangana and ensuring that eligible families get the benefits they deserve.
