Free VIP Darshan of Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy: How to Obtain

Free VIP Darshan: In a voluntary endeavor to disseminate Sanatana Dharma among children and youth, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has released a devotional challenge with prizes for VIP darshan at Tirumala Venkateswara Temple. Children and youth below 25 writing a verse of “Govinda Namam” one crore (10 million) times will be granted VIP darshan for themselves and their family members. Those who achieve 10,01,116 repetitions will be given one-time free darshan.


The Importance of “Govinda Namam” Writing

Writing the names of the gods, Nama Japa, goes back a long time in Hindu cultures. Based on the pattern of the Rama Koti where the name of Lord Rama is written a crore by the devotees, Govinda Koti project instills in youths the culture of religious devotion and discipline.

Instructions to enroll in Govinda Koti Program

1. Get Govinda Koti Booklets

Special booklet prints are done by TTD on which devotees complete “Govinda Namam.” These booklets are collected from TTD information centers, book sale counters, and web sites.

2. Fill the Required Count

One crore (10 million) is counted as VIP darshan with relatives.
10,01,116 is counted as once darshan.

3. File the Filled Booklet

Devotees need to submit the completed booklets in TTD Peshkar Office, Tirumala, for the purpose of receiving the VIP darshan pass.
