Say Goodbye to Tanned Hands with These 8 Easy Home Remedies

Easy Home Remedies: In India’s hot and sunny weather, getting a suntan is very common—especially on your hands. Whether you’re driving, walking, or working outdoors, your hands are often exposed. While salons offer expensive treatments, natural home remedies can remove tan gently and effectively. Here are eight simple methods you can try using items easily found in your kitchen.

Easy Home Remedies:

1. Lemon and Honey

Lemon has natural bleaching properties, and honey moisturizes the skin. Mix one spoon of lemon juice with one spoon of honey. Apply it to your hands, leave it for 15–20 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water. Do this 2–3 times a week.

2. Tomato Pulp

Tomatoes are full of antioxidants. Apply fresh tomato juice on your hands, let it sit for 20 minutes, and wash off. It helps lighten the tan.

3. Gram Flour and Turmeric Paste

Mix 2 spoons of gram flour, a pinch of turmeric, and enough milk or yogurt to make a paste. Apply and let it dry. Scrub it off gently using water. Repeat 2–3 times a week.

4. Cucumber Juice

Cucumber cools the skin and reduces sunburn. Grate a cucumber, extract its juice, and apply it with a cotton ball. Leave it on for 20 minutes, then rinse.

5. Potato and Yogurt Paste

Potatoes help reduce dark spots, and yogurt moisturizes the skin. Blend a raw potato and mix it with 2 spoons of plain yogurt. Apply to your hands and wash off after 30 minutes.

6. Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera cools and heals the skin. Apply pure aloe gel on your hands before sleeping and wash it off in the morning.

7. Milk and Saffron

Soak a few strands of saffron in 2 spoons of raw milk for an hour. Dab it onto your hands with a cotton ball, leave for 20 minutes, and rinse.

8. Orange Peel Scrub

Dry some orange peels and grind them into powder. Mix with milk and apply. Let it sit for 15 minutes before scrubbing off.

Tips to Prevent Tanning:

Always apply sunscreen.

Wear gloves when driving.

Avoid the sun between 10 AM to 4 PM.

Stay hydrated.

With regular use, these remedies can bring back your skin’s natural glow—naturally and safely!
