Top 10 things you should never carry to the Airport: Check list

Airport: Air travel is also accompanied by tight security and baggage rules for the safety of the passengers and smooth flight operations. Most passengers are not aware of some prohibitions, which get them stuck, pay fines, or lose their property at airport security checks. For the sake of avoiding unwanted trouble, this is an all-inclusive list of things you never need to bring to the airport.

1. Liquids Over the Permitted Quantity

Most airports enforce a 100ml per container limit on liquids in checked luggage. Large bottles of perfume, moisturizer, or drinks in excess of this amount can be confiscated. Put them in your checked luggage or buy travel-sized quantities.

2. Sharp Objects

Objects like sharp objects, razors, scissors, and knives cannot be brought in carry-on luggage due to security threats. If needed, they can be stored in checked luggage according to airline rules.

3. Flammable and Hazardous Materials

Airport authorities have banned fireworks, aerosol cans, lighter fluid, and some batteries from carry-on bags. Check airline regulations, especially for power banks and lithium-ion batteries, as some require special clearance.

4. Firearms or Replica Guns

Firearms of any kind, toy guns, or personal defense weapons such as pepper spray and tasers are prohibited. Replicas may also be alarming, and security holds or fines may ensue.

5. Sealed or Restricted Food Items

Some foods such as fresh fruits, meat, and dairy items are banned in certain airports, especially on international flights. Some liquids such as ghee and butter can be banned in hand carry too, so verifying the restrictions on food in advance is advisable.

6. Large Amounts of Cash

Most nations also have money limits on undeclared cash brought by tourists. For not declaring amounts above, they are charged fines, their cash is confiscated, or detained for more questioning by custom authorities.

7. Restricted Medications and Chemicals

Some prescribed medications, chemical compounds, and tough cleaning chemicals can be prohibited. Tourists with necessary drugs have to travel with a physician’s prescription for security.

8. E-Cigarettes and Smoking Devices

These items such as e-cigarettes, hookahs, and e-vaping devices are banned in the cabin or baggage of most airports for health and safety purposes.

9. Sports Gear and Devices

Screwdrivers, drills, saws, and golf clubs and baseball bats are forbidden in hand bags. These can be checked-in if necessary according to airline policies.

10. Banned Custom Items

Passengers are not allowed to bring narcotics, counterfeit goods, wildlife goods, drones, and remote-controlled items since these are typically banned and are punishable by law.

Smart packing is the secret to a trouble-free journey. Paying attention to the regulations at the airport and not carrying the prohibited items, the travelers can have problem-free security checks and fast travel. Always consult the airline policy and customs rule prior to going to the airport for a trouble-free journey!
