Rapido Launches Services in 11 New Towns

Currently, app-based transportation services like Rapido, Uber, and Ola are available in all major cities . Those who do not have their own vehicles, those who cannot drive, and those who live far from bus stops and railway stations are using ride-hailing services like Rapido and Uber to travel quickly and conveniently. Earlier, only cab services were available in Hyderabad. Now, with the advent of Rapido and Uber, bike and auto services have also become available. There is a huge demand for these in the city. In this context, Rapido has taken a key decision. It has come forward to expand its services across Telangana.

Rapido is getting ready to expand its services across Telangana. The company, which is already providing riding services in many cities, will soon expand these services to 11 more cities in Telangana. Rapido services will soon be available in cities like Bhuvanagiri, Suryapet, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Kothagudem, Adilabad, Ramagundam, Kamareddy, Siddipet, Mahabubnagar, and Sangareddy. Company sources have revealed that through these, passengers can book bike and auto services at the lowest price.

Advance tip issue

Recently, there is a controversy regarding the riding apps Rapido and Ola. It is the advance tip issue. Users, If they book for cab, auto, and bike services will they offer an ‘advance tip’? If so, a message is coming to the users’ mobiles saying that there is a chance of booking a ride quickly. Moreover, a huge amount is shown as an advance tip. It says that if you agree to tip, the ride will be booked quickly.

These apps force the user to give a tip by showing an advance tip and saying that the ride will be booked quickly if they give it. Once a tip is given, there is no way to take it back. However, recently this issue has come to the attention of the CCPA and it is ready to take action on it. While notices have already been issued to Uber in this regard, it has also recently started an investigation into Ola and Rapido. It has warned that if these are also found to be charging an advance tip, action will be taken.
