Bollywood Actor Mukul Dev Passes Away at 53. Celebrated for his diverse performances in television, Hindi, Punjabi, and South Indian films, veteran actor Mukul died on May 23, 2025, at 54. After a few days of being ill, he was sent to the intensive care unit, where his health worsened. Officially, the cause of his death has not been revealed.
Who is Mukul Dev?
Mukul Dev was born in New Delhi on September 17, 1970, and came from a Punjabi family with roots close to Jalandhar. He received piloting training at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Aeronautics in Chandigarh before pursuing a career in acting. In 1996, he made his acting debut in the television series Mumkin. That same year, he costarred with Sushmita Sen in the movie Dastak.
