Actress Sreeleela responded to rumors that she was paid less than Samantha Ruth Prabhu for her item song in Pushpa 2. Sreeleela will appear in the next Allu Arjun film for the special song Kissik, replacing Samantha Ruth Prabhu from Pushpa Part One. Samantha’s ‘Oo Antava’ was a smash song in the first installment, staying on the charts for several weeks. However, the early reaction to Pushpa 2’s Kissik has been divided, with many fans preferring ‘Oo Antava’ to the most recent item single.
Sreeleela is currently promoting her next film Robinhood. In one of her promotional events, she commented on the rumors about her remuneration for an item song in Puspa 2. Before clearing the rumors, she revealed why she chose to say okay to the song. She said, “The song itself will justify my choice. It’s not your typical item song. There’s a strong narrative reason behind it, which will become clear when the movie releases.”
When asked about the rumours of getting paid less than Samantha she said, “We haven’t even discussed the remuneration with the producers yet.” According to rumors, Sreeleela was paid Rs 2 crore for the song, while Samantha reportedly received Rs 5 crore for the Pushpa: The Rise song Oo Antava. However, Sreeleela effectively silenced the rumor mill.
On the work front sreeleela’s upcoming film is Robinhood. the movie stars Sreeleela and Nithin in the lead roles. Before Robinhood, she will be seen on the big screen with Pushpa 2. She will be doing a special item song titled ‘Kissik’ in the movie scheduled to release on December 5th.
