Stock Market Outlook May 26:
On Monday, May 26, 2025, the stock market is expected to remain active with several key events influencing investor sentiment. Last week, the Nifty 50 closed at 24,853.15, down by 0.7%. Bank Nifty remained almost flat, ending at 55,398.25. While Realty, Metal, and Industrial stocks gained, sectors like Auto, FMCG, and IT witnessed losses.
Experts suggest that Nifty 50’s immediate support lies at 24,600 and 24,450, with resistance at 25,000. If Nifty crosses 25,000, it may move toward 25,150 to 25,500. A fall below 24,450 could weaken market sentiment.
For Bank Nifty, the key support level is at 54,575. Staying above this level may continue the bullish trend.
Global and Economic Influences
Investors are closely watching the RBI’s ₹2.7 lakh crore dividend to the government and upcoming data like April’s industrial output and Q1 GDP figures. Progress of the monsoon and global cues like U.S. bond yields and India-U.S. trade talks are also important.
