India Defeated Pakistan 48 Hour Plan:
On May 10, 2025, tensions between India and Pakistan reached a high point. Pakistan launched surprise attacks during the night, hoping to weaken India within 48 hours. But India responded swiftly and strongly, ending the plan in just 8 hours.
According to General Anil Chauhan, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), the conflict began after India’s Operation Sindoor. This operation was carried out to destroy terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) following the deadly April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam.
In retaliation, Pakistan attacked across 26 locations—from Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir to Naliya in Gujarat. Their attacks also targeted Indian Air Force (IAF) bases, schools, and hospitals. At around 1:40 AM on May 10, Pakistan even launched missiles toward airbases in Punjab.
However, most of these attacks were stopped by the Indian armed forces. India responded with precision airstrikes on major Pakistani military targets. Key airbases like Rafiqui, Murid, Nur Khan, Chaklala, and others were hit. These attacks damaged Pakistan’s defense setup, forcing them to rethink their strategy.
By 5 PM the same day, Pakistan reached out to India through a military hotline asking for peace talks. India agreed, and both nations announced a ceasefire.
General Chauhan revealed that Pakistan had hoped to defeat India in two days. But due to India’s strong defense and quick action, the plan collapsed within eight hours. He also said that professional armed forces remain focused and calm, even in the face of conflict.
Later, Pakistani documents revealed that India had struck more places with drones than publicly admitted. These included cities like Peshawar, Attock, Hyderabad, and Bahawalnagar, showing the wide reach of India’s response.
This series of events showed that India’s armed forces are fully prepared to protect the country. It also highlighted the importance of strong leadership and smart military planning.
