Japan New Walking Style IWT:
Walking is something we do every day. Health apps on our phones often suggest walking 10,000 steps a day. But scientists in Japan have developed a new way of walking called Interval Walking Training (IWT). It is now becoming popular across the world for its amazing health benefits.
In IWT, you don’t need to run on a treadmill for hours to lose weight. All you need to do is walk fast for 3 minutes (so fast that you can’t talk), followed by 3 minutes of slow walking (at a pace where you can talk normally). Repeat this cycle five times for a total of 30 minutes.
This method was discovered by Japanese scientist Dr. Hiroshi Nose. According to experts, IWT strengthens your heart, tones your legs, burns fat, and even helps you feel younger.
Compared to normal slow walking, IWT keeps your body active and improves metabolism. It also supports better heart health, helps in reducing fat, and increases energy levels.
What does research say?
In Japan, scientists studied people who followed this method four times a week for three months. The results were amazing. Participants saw reduced cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar levels. Their muscles became stronger, they lost weight, and even their mental health improved by reducing depression.
The best part is you can do this walk anywhere — at home, in your garden, on the terrace, or in a park. It’s suitable for all ages, including beginners.
No Gym, No Cost — Just 30 Minutes
You don’t need an expensive gym membership or any equipment. All you need is a good pair of shoes and the willingness to stay healthy. So next time you feel lazy about exercising, try this Japanese walking method. It’s simple, free, and very effective.
Stay active. Stay healthy. Start walking the IWT way!
