Musk Deletes Controversial Post Linking Trump to Epstein Files

Trump-Epstein Files: On Saturday, June 7, 2025, Elon Musk, the billionaire founder of Tesla, took down his social media post regarding the reported appearance of US President Donald Trump’s name in the Jeffrey Epstein archives.

Musk asserted that Trump’s name in the classified papers of the Jeffrey Epstein probe case was the true reason the Epstein files were not made public. Since the “truth” is expected to surface, he also requested social media users to bookmark the message for future use. The major reveal is about to be revealed: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. The true reason they haven’t been released to the public is because of this. Enjoy your day, DJT! Save this post to your bookmarks. Elon Musk said in his since-deleted statement that “the truth will come out.”

Trump-Epstein Video Takedown:
In addition to the tweet, Elon Musk uploaded a 1992 video showing then-President Donald Trump allegedly “partying” with Jeffrey Epstein. The video claimed that the president’s name was in the Epstein files, which revealed the accused’s alleged misdeeds. The video reportedly showed Trump dancing with multiple ladies and mingling with Jeffrey Epstein, according to multiple media accounts. The post that claimed Trump’s name was mentioned in the Epstein files has now been removed, as has the video.

What was Kash Patel’s response to this Epstein Assertion?

The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) current director, Kash Patel, was taken aback when Elon Musk claimed that Trump’s name was in the Epstein files. Elon Musk made this assertion on his social media post on the platform X while Patel was interviewing Joe Rogan. It was observed that Kash Patel was ill-prepared to respond to Musk’s post.

When Joe Rogan questioned Kash Patel about Elon Musk’s allegation, he responded, “I’m not participating in any of that conversation.” “I’m just avoiding the Trump-Elon controversy; I’m not sure how he would do it.” In the podcast conversation, he informed Rogan, “That’s way out of my lane…I know my lane—and that ain’t it.” Following the significant release of the Epstein files in January 2024, the FBI and the US Department of Justice (DoJ) formally “declassified” many other case-related papers, some of which had previously been leaked online.
