Introducing our new software design with Liquid Glass.”
The cryptic and cryptic message has raised widespread speculation and intrigue about the future direction of Apple’s operating systems.
Though Apple hasn’t yet addressed all the technicals, “Liquid Glass” would appear to be a major design remake of Apple’s software UIs, perhaps arriving with iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 15. The term suggests a trend toward liquid, glass-like UIs Unified simplicity with depth, transparency, and dynamic light effects. This is literally a reinterpretation of the term “liquid glass.”.
