While official figures remain under wraps, reports suggest that the property’s sentimental value rivals its price tag. With construction in its final stages, the couple is expected to move in soon, marking a major milestone in their journey.

The Kapoor family holds deep emotional ties to the home. The legendary Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor originally owned the house and later passed it down to Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. In the latest chapter of the family’s legacy, Ranbir and Alia have inherited the residence, continuing the generational tradition. The couple has frequently visited the site to oversee the construction and add personal touches, often accompanied by Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, and their daughter, Raha.

A paparazzo recently gave fans a sneak peek at the massive property. The house showcases a mix of contemporary luxury and traditional warmth, featuring lush greenery on every floor and elegant architectural details. Ranbir and Alia initially planned to move into their new home before last year’s Diwali, but unfinished construction work forced them to delay. Now that the house is nearly complete, they plan to celebrate its auspicious beginning with a traditional grah pravesh ritual.
The couple, who fell in love while filming Brahmastra, got married on April 14, 2022, in an intimate ceremony. They welcomed their daughter, Raha, on November 16 the same year. As they prepare to move into their dream home, fans also eagerly await their next on-screen reunion in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Love and War.
