Those who come into contact with water bodies and sewage are also at risk of contracting rat fever.

Rat fever is a bacterial infection transmitted through contact with rats and contaminated food and drinks. The risk of rats increases as garbage piles up. Rats multiply in unsanitary conditions and their urine is also produced.

Rats are permanent residents not only on roadsides and in forests, but also around the kitchen of houses. The urine of the rats that multiply in this way also gets into the water. However, many people do not pay attention to this and enter the water, which is the reason why they catch rat fever.

The disease enters the human body by going into water bodies, ponds, ponds, farms and fields where rats frequent, working or bathing without taking sufficient precautions.
