Squid Game 3: Netflix has unveiled a gripping new trailer for Squid Game 3, titled the “Final Games” trailer, and it’s already sparking intense fan speculation. While the teaser doesn’t directly confirm much, a brief and blurry moment around the 1:14 mark has set off a flurry of theories, some claiming the final two contestants may have just been accidentally revealed.
In this particular scene, a rope bridge challenge is underway. A player is seen getting violently thrown off the bridge, suggesting yet another brutal elimination. However, what truly catches the eye happens in the background. If viewers pause and zoom into the far end of the bridge, two more players appear to be sitting on the opposite side.
Though the video quality makes it nearly impossible to identify who these players are, their placement is what fuels the speculation. In the setup of this rope game, two iconic dolls: a female and a male, are positioned at either end. The female doll marks the starting point, while the male doll stands at the finish line. Intriguingly, the two seated players are seen on the side where the male doll is placed, implying they may have successfully crossed the bridge.
Of course, this is just a theory. Given the trailer’s quick cuts and intentionally blurred visuals, nothing is definitive. The players’ faces are completely obscured, and it’s unclear whether they are resting, injured, or waiting for the next part of the challenge. Still, the fact that they are no longer on the bridge itself, especially while another contestant is actively being eliminated, has led many to believe they’ve advanced to the finals.
It wouldn’t be the first time Squid Game stirred up theories with subtle clues and blink-and-you-miss-it moments. The series is notorious for its layered storytelling and visual foreshadowing. Whether Netflix intentionally placed this scene or not, fans are now dissecting every frame for more hints.
Until the season drops, we won’t know for sure if these two shadowy figures really are the last standing. But if this theory holds true, Netflix might have just slipped up and revealed the finalists ,without ever showing their faces.
