Akhanda 2 is an upcoming film starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role. Directed by Boyapatti Srinu, the film is expected to be a major milestone in Balakrishna’s career. The teaser of Akhanda 2 attracted attention. The new update says that the total budget of the film is 180 crores. Balakrishna has completed the dubbing of the Telugu and Hindi versions. However, there are rumors that the release may be postponed to Pongal 2026 instead of September 25, 2025.
There are reports that this move is being considered since Pawan Kalyan’s De Kool Him OG is also targeting to release on the same date. There is no official confirmation yet. Akhanda 2 features several prominent actors in addition to Pragya Jaiswal and Samyuktha. It is produced by Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the banner 14 Reels Plus. Thaman is the music director of this film.

This is the film in which the Nandamuri Balakrishna-Gopichand Malineni team comes together after the blockbuster film ‘Veera Simha Reddy’. ‘NBK111’ is a big-budget film produced by Venkata Sathish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas, along with the production of the pan-Indian film “Peddhi”.
The announcement poster features a fierce image of an enraged lion. Half of its face is covered with a metal shield. The remaining half of its face is open and remains wild. The image in the poster symbolizes the intense duality and wild power of the character that Balakrishna will be playing in this film.
