‘We Are Tough but Supportive’: Revanth Reddy at Gaddar Awards

Revanth Reddy at Gaddar Awards:

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy recently assured full support to the cinema industry and Gaddar Foundation. Speaking at the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards ceremony in Hyderabad, he made several important announcements.

Revanth Reddy at Gaddar Awards:

Revanth Reddy said, “The state government may appear tough, but we care for you with affection. We will provide 100% support for your development.” He explained that cinema is a big industry and it can contribute a lot to Telangana’s growth. “We want to appreciate, encourage, and give proper recognition to the cinema industry and its artists,” he said.

He also stressed the role of cinema in developing the state’s economy. “We are preparing a chapter for cinema in our Telangana Rising-2047 document. The film industry should tell us their ideas and we will implement them with their guidance.” Revanth Reddy encouraged filmmakers to bring their creative stories to Telangana instead of looking elsewhere. “Hollywood belongs to America, Bollywood belongs to Mumbai but I want the film industry to grow here in Telangana. We will support you just like we do for IT, Pharma, and Defence sectors.”

He further explained his plans for the state’s future. “We aim to make Telangana a \$3 trillion economy by 2047. The film industry can contribute to this big dream.” Revanth Reddy also made a strong promise, stating, “Whatever I have said until today, I have kept my promises. I have a 100% success rate in delivering what I say.”

He recognized Gaddar’s role in the statehood movement and described him as “a symbol of revolution, a guiding light, and a major force for change.” The Chief Minister called upon everyone to move forward together, putting aside past differences.

Additionally, Revanth Reddy announced a grant of Rs. 3 crores to Gaddar Foundation to celebrate Gaddar’s birth anniversary and continue his cultural and revolutionary work in Telangana.

He concluded by honoring Rahul Sipligunj for his international acclaim and stating, “Rahul Sipligunj from Old City is making us proud by securing an Oscar award. We will appreciate him in a significant way.”
