After his mysterious post implying his retirement went viral, leaving all of his admirers and following in shock, Vikrant Massey finally spoke out.
Fans were concerned after Vikrant Massey posted a mysterious message in the early hours of Monday, leading many to speculate that the actor had declared his “retirement” from performing. The Sabarmati Report actor explained that he simply needed a “long break” since he missed his family and was not feeling well after remaining silent for a long time.
He stated, “I’m not retiring… Just burned out. Need a long break. Miss home and health are also acting up… People misread it [the social media post].”
Notably, Vikrant announced his decision to retire from acting in a lengthy message posted on his Instagram account on Monday, December 2. The 12th Fail actor said that it was time for him to “recalibrate” and return home as a husband, father, son, and actor, while also thanking his fans and followers for their unwavering love and support.
Several followers wished him luck for the next stage of his life, while others poured their sorrow and despair at his choice into the comments section minutes after the post was uploaded.

Vikrant most recently starred alongside Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra in Dheeraj Sarna’s The Sabarmati Report. Additionally, PM Narendra Modi attended a special screening of the movie at Delhi’s Parliament. Other prominent members of the Cabinet ministry, like as Health Minister JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Home Minister Amit Shah, were also there.
