Aloe Vera Oil for Hair Growth:
Aloe vera is a powerful natural remedy used for skin and hair care. It contains antioxidants, antibacterial agents, and vitamins that nourish the scalp and improve hair health. One of the best ways to use it is by preparing aloe vera oil at home. This oil is not for eating, but it works wonders when applied to your hair and skin.
To begin, take a fresh aloe vera leaf. Wash it properly, then dry it using a clean towel. Trim off the thorny sides and cut the leaf into small pieces.
Now, heat 2 cups of coconut oil in a pan on a low flame. Add the chopped aloe vera pieces to the oil. Stir gently as the mixture sizzles, and let it cook on low heat for about 10 minutes. Once done, allow the mixture to cool completely.
Strain the oil to remove the aloe pieces and pour it into a glass bottle for storage. Don’t throw away the leftover pieces — they can be crushed and used as a skin pack.
Always cook aloe vera on low heat to avoid burning and splashing.
You can use store-bought aloe vera gel if fresh leaves are unavailable.
This oil is best used within 3 weeks. Store it in the fridge for freshness.
Apply the oil directly on your scalp and hair by dividing your hair into sections. For extra moisture, add a few drops of castor oil. Leave it on for 30 minutes before washing off with mild shampoo.
Some people may be allergic to aloe vera. It’s advised to do a patch test before full use. Also, avoid using it if you’re already using steroid creams, as it may cause skin reactions.
This oil is rich in vitamins A, B12, C, and E, and helps in reducing scalp irritation, strengthening hair roots, and possibly encouraging hair growth — especially useful for people with hair fall issues like alopecia.
