Priyanka Chopra has made a mark for herself in the film industry ranging from Indian cinema to international cinema. The actress is currently living in the US with her husband famous pop singer Nick Jonas and their beloved daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas who was born via surrogacy on January 15, 2022. Priyanka’s Mother Madhu Chopra also lives with her in The US. Now the chances of Priyanka Chopra coming to India are even more depleting, Here’s why.
Priyanka Chopra’s mom Madhu Chopra revealed that her daughter’s production house “Purple Pebble Pictures” has relocated its operations to The US from India. This Hollywood beauty founded the production house “Purple Pebble Pictures” back in 2015 and used to conduct its operations in Mumbai headquarters. Some of the notable pictures from Priyanka’s production house include Ventilator (2016), Pahuna: The Little Visitors (2017), The Sky Is Pink (2019) and the latest release Paani in 2024.
Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra revealed that “Purple Pebble Pictures” has relocated its operations to The US from India. In a recent interview, the actress’s mother said, “Purple Pebbles has moved to America so we are not making any films in India for now. But God willing, Priyanka will come to India to make movies, so we will see then.” Her mother confirms the relocation of the production house as no films have been made in India.
But her mother wishes to return to India, hopefully, if Priyanka Chopra does any Indian film they will be back in India and hence the production house will relocate to its original place. When asked about Priyanka’s future plans for her films, Madhu said, “There are no plans as of now.” The Hollywood actor has no plans of moving to India for now.
Priyanka Chopra has an exciting line of films including the most awaited series Citadel: The second season of this gripping spy thriller series on Amazon Prime Video. The actress has been constantly updating about the series and shooting. The actress will also feature in Heads of State, a political drama starring Idris Elba and John Cena. Another exciting project includes The Bluff, Set in the 19th-century Caribbean, co-starring Karl Urban.
