Vikrant Massey Talks About the Role of Validation in His Life and Career. Vikranth recently announced his break or retirement the discussion is still going on the internet but the actor made it official with a post on Instagram that says his presence is needed for his family and he will be off work for some days. The 12th fail actor is expected to come to the audience for one last time in 2025 as the post said. Now the actor candidly discusses the 12th fail film’s impact on him and his hunger for validation.
In a recent interview, Vikrant Massey spoke about 12th Fail and said,
‘Validation from the industry has come in, and I was longing for it. I always backed myself and continue to do so, but it was very important for me, deep within me, I had this urge to be validated by more people and not just be labelled an alternate actor. 12th Fail’s commercial success was important to me. There are a lot more roles coming my way, and a lot many producers want to work with me now. I wanted that. I am happy, but I also know it’s all very temporary, and people change with time.”
Vikrant went on to express his thoughts about the success and failure of a film from his point of view. “My mechanism to deal with success and failure is the same. I don’t take either very seriously. Everything is so temporary in life. I have seen people change like the weather in success and failure. I move on very quickly and don’t sit with either for too long. The same things can change equally fast the moment you trip again and are back to where you began,” The actor concluded.
The actor was last seen in The Sabarmati Report, directed by Dheeraj Sarna, and stars Raashii Khanna, Ridhi Dogra, and Barkha Singh in prominent parts. Vikranth Massey shines as a tough journalist. Vikranth along with Rashi Khanna and Ridhi Dogra are on a mission to uncover the truth behind the tragic Sabarmati Express fire incident in 2002. The actor will also be a part of Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Zero Se Restart. This is about which showcases the making of the film 12th Fail.
