No Hera Pheri 3 Without Babu Bhaiya! Paresh Rawal Returns

Hera Pheri 3: Paresh Rawal will be reprising his iconic character Baburao Ganapatrao Apte in the third installment of Bollywood’s all-time hit comedy franchise ‘Hera Pheri’. After the controversies and legal proceedings that followed Paresh’s exit from ‘Hera Pheri 3’, the actor has officially confirmed his comeback.


 

This has created a lot of excitement among fans. Paresh Rawal, who made a place in the hearts of the audience with his memorable performances as Baburao in the films ‘Hera Pheri’ (2000) and ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ (2006). Baburao is the Hindi version of the iconic character Mannar Mathai, who was played by Innocent in the Malayalam film Ranchi Rao Speaking.


 

His exit from ‘Hera Pheri 3’ was a big disappointment for fans. However, the actor confirmed his comeback while speaking on Himanshu Mehta’s podcast. “All issues have been resolved. We are going to work together and give the audience a great film,” Paresh said.

In the podcast, Paresh spoke about his responsibility towards the love of the audience. “When the audience loves a film so much, we have a responsibility towards it. We should not disappoint them,” he said.

The other dramas pertaining the controversy

Earlier, following Paresh Rawal’s withdrawal from the film, the film’s producer and co-star Akshay Kumar had initiated legal proceedings. By seeking Rs 25 crore compensation. Paresh had returned the signing fee of Rs 11 lakh with 15% interest.

Akshay Kumar had come forward to counter the criticism of fans who called Paresh a ‘fool’ during the trailer launch of ‘Housefull 5’. “We have been working together for 30-35 years. It is not right to call him a fool. He is a great actor and we are good friends,” said Akshay.

 

Paresh’s return is a great joy for fans who have been waiting for the third part of ‘Hera Pheri’ for years. Akshay Kumar (Raju), Suniel Shetty (Shyam) and Paresh Rawal (Baburao) will be a nostalgic experience for the audience. This film, which will be directed by Priyadarshan again, is expected to recapture the comedy and simplicity of the first film in 2000.

‘Hera Pheri’, released in 2000, became a cult classic under Priyadarshan’s direction. ‘Phir Hera Pheri’, directed by Neeraj Vora in 2006, was also a huge success. However, the third part faced various problems over the years.
