Shah Rukh Khan lends his voice to Mufasa in an upcoming animated film. Recently the makers posted a video featuring Shah Rukh Khan talking about the upcoming film and journey of Mufasa. They captioned the post “Whether it is Pride Lands or Bollywood, King’s story, there is only one @iamsrk.” Shah Rukh Khan has lent his voice to Mufasa in the Hindi version of Mufasa The Lion King. The journey of becoming King is not easy for anyone. In the film, the makers have beautifully showcased the Journey of Mufasa to become King.
In the video, Shah Rukh Khan addresses himself as an orphan. He said, “If I was to not be humble and say, ‘Hann meri hi kahaani aisi hai’ (My story is also like this)’ then it could fit in. Technically speaking, anyone who doesn’t have parents is an orphan. I did lose my parents nearly in youth, so I’m a semi-orphan.” The actor continued to say “It’s the story of an outsider. No family of mine has been in the business of filmmaking. I came from Delhi to Mumbai, so main outsider bhi hoon (I’m an outsider as well). It’s the story of the King. So, yeah, I’m a king.”
In the video Bollywood king also spoke about the lion King Mufasa. The Jawan actor said I think it’s a very interesting story about sacrifice, friendship, and loyalty. There were lots of emotions while I was dubbing the film. I thought, ‘What a nice person, what a great character. Kitna acha human being sher hai (What a nice human being the lion is!)’ The actor concluded the video. The film will make its grand theatrical debut this Christmas on 25th December 2024. Don’t miss out on Mufasa’s journey as King.
