Earlier, many cinema halls in India restricted bringing bananas inside. Since audiences used to throw peels around which sometimes caused accidents, this law isn’t necessarily an average law but a true oddity in some states!

Napoleon Is Not an Acceptable Name for Your Pig – France

In France, calling your pig “Napoleon” constitutes a lack of fidelity to the country’s history, and so there is a law actually prohibiting that which is a protection of national dignity. Although that law is not often enforced, it’s still there.

Reincarnation Ban Without Permision- China.

In Tibet (China), Buddhist monks cannot reincarnate without government approval. Introduced in 2007, this law has an unreal sound, but it was aimed at controlling religious leadership and practices.

It’s Illegal to Have Your Dog Walked More Than Once a Day – Italy

In fact, a fine can be obtained in Turin for not walking a dog at least once a day, but over-walking in some districts is stamped out because the dog has also to be walked for more than once: the pet cops are watching you anyway!

Singing Out of Tune is illegal – North Carolina, USA

Legally speaking, one’s singing out of tune in public in North Carolina can qualify technically for a misdemeanor; however, no one has been sentenced to that under this law, which still is out of date, but is still available in local archives.

No Drinking and Riding a Cow – Scotland

In Scotland, it is illegal to be drunk in charge of either a cow or a horse. Apparently, drinking and moo-ving don’t mix!
