Shooting for the film has resumed after a break due to Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments. The crew is currently filming an intense action sequence in Hyderabad. It is reported that, the team is scouting locations in Thailand. A crucial program that was first postponed because of the AP elections has now been rescheduled. Pawan Kalyan will join the shooting to finish a significant part of the movie when the rehearsals and preparations are finished.

The film stars Pawan Kalyan as Ojas Gambheera, a gangster who returns to Mumbai to confront a powerful don named Omi Bhau, played by Emraan Hashmi. Ojas Gambheera “OG” is being produced by DVV Danayya under the DVV Entertainment banner with an estimated budget of Rs 250 crore.
Sujeeth’s upcoming action drama OG is said to be released in 2 parts. Fans speculated that OG is a prequel to Prabhas Sahoo as the film revolves around a gangster in Mumbai, which is quite similar to Sahoo story.
The film was originally scheduled for release on September 27, 2024, but has been postponed indefinitely due to production delays. It is now tentatively scheduled for release in 2025.
