Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama Trailer: Suhas returns once again with a romantic drama, O Bhama Ayyo Rama. The trailer, released on Saturday, offers nothing new. Directed by Ram Godala and produced by Harish Nalla, the film claims to be a romantic comedy but feels like just another safe, formulaic attempt from the actor. Set to release on July 11 under Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media banner, the film appears to follow the same template Suhas has leaned on far too often.
The narrative centers on a young assistant director who falls in love and has to deal with the typical fallout. We’ve seen this scenario a hundred times already, haven’t we? Although filmmakers Harish Shankar and Maruthi appear in cameos, the teaser is unimpressive and lacks originality. Not even the return of Anita from Nuvvu Nenu is really exciting.
Routine Love Story or Comfort Zone?
Suhas, who impressed audiences with movies like Writer Padmabhushan and Colour Photo, seemed pleased to stick to love dramas. Even though such movies were successful, they at least had some originality and emotional depth. However, Suhas is still producing light romantic comedies with cliched plots and antiquated storytelling, even as the Telugu film industry moves toward intense action thrillers and important stories. Even most people are mentioning that this trailer looks like a short film. People are just waiting for the movie to release to witness if this looks like a feature film or short film.

Producers boast this as the highest-budget film in Suhas’ career and promise “a cute romantic comedy entertainer,” but viewers are asking, does anyone want another “cute” love story in 2025? With bigger, bolder films setting new benchmarks, it feels like Suhas is either playing it too safe or running out of ideas.
Yes, he has delivered hits before. But if he keeps choosing the same genre, how long will the charm last? O Bhama Ayyo Rama might bring him another routine success, or push him further into irrelevance. The industry is evolving. Will Suhas?
