Nithiin’s Thammudu: Telugu actor Nithiin’s latest movie, Thammudu, was a huge box-office failure. The action drama, which was directed by Sreeram Venu, stunned the industry and did poorly at the box office. For a hefty price, Amazon Prime Video had secured the OTT contract with producer Dil Raju. However, things took a turn for the worse when the contract fell through, and the producers decided to go with Netflix since they offered more money.

The focus is now on the OTT release after the Telugu film, which debuted in theaters on July 4, ended as a failure. According to the most recent information, Thammudu is prepared for an early OTT release. According to reports, Thammudu would be available on OTT within a month of its theatrical release, with a projected launch date of the final week of July 2025. Typically, major Telugu films are available on OTT a month following their theatrical release.

Thammudu is Nithiin’s fourth consecutive failure during a difficult time in his career. His upcoming movie, Yellamma, which Dil Raju is also producing, is his chance to make a return.

Sapthami Gowda’s Telugu Debut:
With this film, Sapthami Gowda of Kantara fame made her Telugu debut, and her performance was highly praised. Unfortunately, though, her efforts have been in naught because the movie ended poorly. In addition to Varsha Bollama, Saurabh Sachdeva made his Telugu film debut in this movie. His portrayal of the film’s primary antagonist was highly praised.

Although the makers of Thammudu will suffer significant losses, a portion of the cash was recovered through the OTT rights. The film was made on a budget of about ₹40 crore. Thammudu’s story revolves around the bond between brothers and sisters and how Nithiin’s character goes above and beyond to save his sister.
