Bank Holiday Alert: According to the RBI bank holiday list, all Indian banks will be closed on Saturday, July 12. Since July 12 falls on the second Saturday of the month, it is a bank holiday. The Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) bank holiday calendar states that all Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays of each month are bank holiday days. Except Saturdays, the first, third, and fifth, banks are typically closed on weekends.
It is important to remember that only physical bank branches are closed on bank holidays. Even on bank holidays, ATMs and online banking are still operational.
Upcoming Bank Holidays:
Sunday, July 13 is the day of the upcoming bank holiday. There are five bank holidays in different states starting the week of July 14: July 14, July 16, July 17, July 19, and July 20. The next festival-related bank holiday is July 14, when Meghalayan banks will be closed in observance of Beh Deinkham.

1. Thursday, July 3rd – Kharchi Puja: Agartala banks will be closed
2. Saturday, July 5: On the day of Guru Hargobind Ji’s birthday, banks in Jammu and Srinagar will be closed.
3. Monday, July 14: Beh Deinkhlam: Shillong banks will be closed on this day.
4. Wednesday, July 16 Harela: Dehradun banks will be closed on Harela.
5. Thursday, July 17: On the anniversary of U Tirot Singh’s passing, Shillong banks will be closed on Saturday.
6. July 19. Ker Puja: Agartala banks will be closed on this day.
7. Monday, July 28: Gangtok banks will be closed, according to Drukpa Tshe-zi
