Fatty Liver in Women: Warning Signs Often Ignored

Fatty liver in women: Fatty liver disease is generally thought of as a disease that affects alcoholics. However, it is also common for non-alcoholics and women to get fatty liver. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is called fatty liver disease in non-alcoholics.

1. Abdominal bloating

3. Extreme fatigue

4. Weight gain

Women with this liver disease often gain weight without making any changes to their diet.

5. Nausea, indigestion

Many women in the early stages of fatty liver disease experience indigestion and mild nausea.

6. Dark spots on the skin

Don’t ignore dark spots on the neck or armpits. Itchy skin can also be a symptom of such liver disease.

7. Hormonal imbalance and irregular periods

The liver also helps regulate hormones. For women, an unhealthy liver can cause irregular periods and hormonal problems.
