Stranger Things 5: Recently, the Instagram broadcast channel for Stranger Things posted a message that simply reads “scanning for signal” with an antenna emoji. This hints that something big is coming soon.

July 15 is just a few days away, marking the ninth anniversary of the Netflix series, which first aired in 2016. Over the years, they’ve done a few things to mark this date, though it isn’t as significant as Stranger Things Day on November 6, the day Will Byers disappeared in 1983, which kicked off the whole story.

Last year, Netflix revealed a behind-the-scenes video for Stranger Things season 5 on July 15, combining the celebration of the eight-year anniversary with the halfway point of production for the new season.

Stranger Things 5: LEAKS

Adding to the excitement, just a few weeks ago, a leaker who had previously correctly revealed release dates and times for the final season long before TUDUM returned to Reddit. This leaker claimed that a trailer running 2 minutes and 35 seconds would be coming out at some point this month.

Now, this new broadcast message from the official Instagram account adds more weight to that claim. The account’s last cryptic radio message appeared just a day before the date announcement video dropped on May 31.

It’s looking very likely that the trailer for Stranger Things season 5 will arrive on July 15. There’s also speculation that a poster might be released on Monday to confirm the trailer the next day, possibly serving as the first official poster for season 5. These developments point to very exciting days ahead for fans eager to return to Hawkins for one final chapter.
