Dheeraj Kumar: Actor, producer, and director Dheeraj Kumar passed away on Tuesday following pneumonia and respiratory issues. He was eighty years old. On July 12 (Saturday), he was brought to the Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai.

Dheeraj Kumar’s health had reached a critical stage, and he was placed on life support in the ICU at Kokilaben Hospital in Andheri West. His family confirmed the news through an official statement, expressing deep sorrow over his passing. “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dheeraj Kumar, a renowned actor, producer, and director, who left us due to cardiac arrest,” the statement read.

The family added that he had been under treatment and on ventilator support at the time of his death. The entertainment industry mourns the loss of a multi-talented professional who made significant contributions across film and television. Offering condolences, the family extended their gratitude for the support and prayers, saying, “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.”

Dheeraj Kumar Achievements:
1. Among his many Hindi cinema credits are Roti Kapda Aur Makan, Sargam, and Kranti.
2. In 1965, he started working in entertainment. Along with Rajesh Khanna and Subhash Ghai, he was a finalist in a talent show. The winner in the end was Rajesh Khanna.
3. His acting career included 21 Punjabi films between 1970 and 1984. He is the chairman and managing director of Creative Eye, a production firm he founded. The song “Ka Karoon Sajani, Aaye Na Balam” was filmed on him in the movie Swami. He has also appeared in other movies, such as Raaton Ka Raja and Heera Panna.
