Ramayana, however, is the most expensive movie in Indian cinema history. Nitish Tiwari is the director of this film, in which Sai Pallavi plays Sita Devi and Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama.

The makers cast Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Ravi Dubey as Lakshmana, and rock star Yash as Ravana. Reports state that Priyanka Chopra declined the role of Soorpanakha due to her busy schedule. Following her exit, rumors suggested that the team offered the role to Rakul Preet Singh. Now, the latest buzz claims that the team is trying to cast 15-year-old Dishita Segal as Bala Soorpanakha in the film. According to Bollywood circles, she has already auditioned, completed a look test, and even shot a few scenes. But how true are these reports?

Who is Dishita Segal?
At the age of four, Dishita made her commercial debut. She played a young Alia Bhatt in Dear Zindagi and Akshay Kumar’s daughter in Baby. She also starred in Hindi Medium and War. She most recently starred in Behaan Dargaina, an OTT series.
