Sai Pallavi as Sita: Malayalam Actress Sai Pallavi has started her career in Malayalam industry. Her first film Premam is one of the sensational hits in the industry. Following to that film, she started doing films in Telugu and impressed most of the people with charming and glamours look. With her strong acting skills she has impressed audiences across Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Now, Sai Pallavi focused on Hindi films, Is she going to rule there also?


She has been cast as Sita in Ramayana, one of the most ambitious and big-budget films in Bollywood history, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and starring Ranbir Kapoor as Rama. The team has revealed that the film’s first part will release during Diwali next year.

Why choose Sai Pallavi as Sita?


The film team shared their reasons for casting Sai Pallavi in this iconic role. They highlighted that she avoids glamour roles and has never undergone cosmetic surgeries, which aligns with the natural and divine image of Goddess Sita.

They said her natural beauty and simplicity perfectly matched the vision they had for the character. Despite considering several actresses, the team felt Sai Pallavi best suited the role. The film, with a staggering ₹4000 crore budget, is being co-produced by Yash’s Monster Mind Creations and Prime Focus Studios.

Criticism and Support:
After the film announcement most of the reviews and reactions were completely mixed. Most of the people criticized their decision for cast Sai Pallavi as there are many other heroines in Bollywood too. But, the makers have sticked to their decision and believed in the authenticity and her talent.

Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi’s Rising Career

Kannada hero Yash will play the role of Ravana in the film. Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi continues to shine with recent hits like Amaran and Thandel. Known for being selective with her scripts. It is reported that she mostly says no directly to the makers if the story doesn’t feel appealing to her. It is also said that she don’t want to be casted for glamourous roles or any glamour centric roles.
