She is currently acting in the movie Peddi opposite Charan. The shooting of this movie, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is going on at a brisk pace. Currently, various news are going viral on social media about Janhvi Kapoor’s remuneration. It is reported that Janhvi took a remuneration of 5 crores for the movie Devara. Janhvi has increased her remuneration by another crore after the movie became a hit. Janhvi Kapoor is said to be charging 6 crores for playing the heroine in the movie ‘Peddi’ opposite Ram Charan.

‘Peddi’ is being directed by Sana Buchibabu of Uppena fame and National Award winner. The film is being produced on a huge budget. It will feature Kannada star Shivaraj Kumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyandu (of Mirzapur fame) in key roles. Oscar winner AR Rahman is composing the music for the film.
