Telangana High Court granted interim bail for Pushpa actor Allu Arjun

Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun was arrested this morning by Hyderabad police in connection with the death of a 35-year-old woman, when a large crowd gathered at Sandhya Theatre to catch a glimpse of Allu Arjun on December 4.

Ever since Allu Arjun’s arrest Back in the morning, the star actor was taken into Chikkadpally Police custody in connection with the Sandhya theatre stampede, which led to a woman’s death. After the medical tests in Gandhi Hospital, the actor was presented in the Nampally court by the police.

In addition to Allu Arjun, the police apprehended three others connected to the incident–M. Sandeep, one of the owners of Sandhya Theatre, senior manager M. Nagaraju, and Gandhakam Vijay Chander, who oversaw the theatre’s lower balcony–arresting them for their alleged roles in the stampede.

T Raja Singh, a BJP leader, reacted to Allu Arjun’s detention by saying, “Telangana Police claim that Allu Arjun did not tell them of his arrival at Sandhya Theatre. As a result, a big throng gathered, causing a stampede that killed 38 yearold woman.

Recently theatre owner issued a statement claiming to have informed the Hyderabad Commissioner of Police of the arrival of Allu Arjun, the actors, and the director. According to the reports , The Telangana HC had granted interim bail to Allu Arjun for 28-30 days. Actor was asked to submit a personal bond of Rs 50,000. “We will grant interim bail for a certain period, and let them avail appropriate remedies meanwhile,” said a judge to Bar and Bench.

The action sequel made it’s much anticipated grad debut worldwide on 5 December 2024 setting several box-office records, it has earned over Rs 1,067 crore worldwide in its first seven days. Actor fans speculated that sudden arrest was to dominate actor’s growing influence in the country.
