Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated upcoming adventurous action thriller, SSMB29, is all set to go on the floors in January 2025. Now, it is reported that Makers are considering roping in Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Even since SSMB29 was officially announced, it has been making buzz with its casting, and rumors have been rife that it will have international actors playing prominent parts. Earlier rumors suggested that Marvel actor Chris Hemsworth was cast in the film but turned out to be baseless.

According to a report , Mahesh Babu’s SSMB29 makers are in talks with Priyanka Chopra to play the female lead role in the action thriller.

Now it is said that makers officially signed Prithviraj to play the antagonist in his upcoming film, and the script for the movie has been finalized, and Mahesh has committed to his dates starting in January 2025.

A source close to the makers reported that the film will be released in three parts, which is yet to be confirmed by the makers and actor. The script, which took two years to develop under the guidance of screenwriter Vijayendra Prasad- Rajamouli’s father, lays the foundation for what promises to be an epic production with an estimated budget of staggering 1000 crores,  the film is one of the most expensive Indian films. It is revealed that actor Mahesh Babu would not take his acting fee and would join as co-producing the film.

The Globe trotting action adventure film is set in the 1800s in Amazon rain forest and promises a grand adventure with over 200 unique characters and a jungle thriller storyline inspired by Indiana Jones and is expected to hit the theaters in 2027.

Mahesh Babu starrer is said to be a cinematic event that has captivated the imagination of audiences worldwide. The ambitious visual scope, and the involvement of Oscar award winning music director M.M. Keeravani promise a cinematic masterpiece in the making.
