HHVM Box Office Day 3: Hari Hara Veera Mallu or HHVM, the epic and hyped Pawan Kalyan historical that took the longest time to release- finally opened in theatres on July 24, 2025. The film was produced with an outlandish budget of Rs. 300 crores. Its paid premieres alone amounted to nearly Rs. 30 crores with India recording a strong Rs. 34.75 crores on Day 1. Thus, the first 24 hours accomplished a better storm to drive up the global earnings beyond ₹65 crores.
In spite of a tremendous opening, HHVM saw a plunge in collection. Day 2 grossed an estimation of around Rs 8 crore from all over India. The response in terms of word-of-mouth, as well as critics’, appeared indifferent, leaving worldwide collections at the end of the second day hovering at close to Rs 77 crore.
Day 3, which is significant Saturday, failed to bring any major respite. The film managed only about Rs 9 crore collecting, and the three-day total domestic was around Rs 64.75 crore. Including numbers from overseas, at the end of the third day, the global total was touching just about Rs80 crore.
Three days have rolled by, and still, almost Rs 220 crore needs to be recovered. Therefore, the road ahead seems steep, and it all depends on how HHVM can perform well on weekdays along with a good second weekend, to ensure breakeven. At best, the film has already earned just about 40-45% of its budget, and the drop in trends raises questions regarding crossing even the Rs 200 crore mark without somehow justifying its production costs.

Though starting on a large scale and with a solid fan base, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is still unable to live up to its expectations commercially. While there is still time to build the momentum, the further course suggests that unless a significant surge in the week’s collections takes place, breakeven may remain a dream far away.
