During those intervals, many offers came from other languages like Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, etc. that were not unimportant but not worthy of a lead role. Offers are coming. But something healthy is not coming,’ Jayaram said. Jayaram said that he was waiting for a good film in Malayalam and that is how Jude Antony Joseph came up with the script of the film Aashakal Aayiram.

Aashakal Aayiram is directed by G Prajith, who directed Oru Vadakkan Selfie. The creative director of the film, which is being produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies, is Jude Antony Joseph. Aashakal Aayiram is written by Aravind Rajendran and Jude Antony Joseph. Aashakal Aayiram is also the film in which Jayaram and his son Kalidas Jayaram come together after 22 years.
