Power Cut Today in Bengaluru: On Wednesday, July 30, BESCOM (Bangalore Electricity Supply Company) has planned a seven-hour power outage. Residents will experience yet another power outage on July 30, which will affect a number of significant areas throughout the city. Due to necessary maintenance at the 220/66/11 kV Hoody Power Station, there will be a planned shutdown in Bengaluru from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

BESCOM claims that in order to increase long-term power supply efficiency, critical maintenance and system upgrades necessitate the planned power shutdown. The administration has promised that as soon as the work is finished, electricity will be restored. Major phases of maintenance have been carried out in several parts of Bengaluru over the previous two months, with scheduled power outages for the impacted areas arranged on particular days.
