It was initially planned to be released in the last quarter of 2024. Then moved to the first quarter of 2025. There are rumors saying that the fans may have to wait till Sankranti 2026 or even June 6, 2026. Raja Saab directed by Maruthi was first announced early in 2023 with plans for a tentative release toward the end of 2024. But due to the requirement for the changes in shoot schedules and VFX work, the film’s original timeline could not be managed. Then, it was reportedly for a Valentine’s Day tagging in February 2025, but rescheduled for mid-2025. Assignment of a December 5, 2025 date has been made. No amount of delay has stopped mounting and there is still a big chunk of post-production remaining. The makers seem to be eyeing festive or summer release slots in 2026.
