Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s trending action sequel Pushpa 2 : The Rule becomes highest grossing Indian film beating Parabhas’s  and Yash’s KGF 2. Read on for more updates about the film’s box office.
The Sukumar directorial action drama film has earned Rs 1414 crore at worldwide box office, surpassing Rajamouli’s blockbuster action thriller Baahubali 2’s Hindi record, becomes highest grossing Indian film. Pushpa 2 ; The Rule earned Rs 900 crore in in India in just 11 days, beating Yash’s action drama flick KGF 2’s records. Its Hindi version outperforms the Telugu original. In a recent conversation Pushpa 2 Hindi distributer Anil Thadani revealed that he doubled his Rs 200 crore investment. The film’s global success marks a major post-pandemic win for Indian cinema.

According to the reports, the Pushpa franchise has collected over Rs 500 crore net at the Hindi box office. If the trend continues, then Pushpa 2 will easily gross the Rs 750 crore net at the Hindi box office, by the time it completes its full run.


Allu Arjun starrer will be the first film in the history of Indian cinema that has collected over Rs 750 crore net at the Hindi box office and if Pushpa 2 achieves this, then it will be setting a new all time record. But for that to happen, this Allu Arjun and Rasmika Mandanna’s action thriller film will have to hold its box office ground over the next couple of weeks.

ImageThe action drama film stars Allu Arjun in the titular role, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Rao Ramesh, Sreeleela and Anasuya Bharadwaj. It is the second instalment in the Pushpa film series and marks direct sequel to the 2021 action film Pushpa: The Rise and follows Pushpa, a coolie risen to the ranks of sandalwood smuggler, who struggles to sustain his business as he faces tough opposition from the police led by IPS Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.The film is successfully running in the theaters.
